Workplace Summit 2020

Workplace Summit 2020 – The Next Generations

Following on from the success of last year, the Workplace Summit was back for a second year. Due to the ongoing Covid19 situation, this years conference was virtual. The Virtual Workplace Summit 2020 took place over 2 days on the 21st & 28th May 2020 – 11-1pm on each day. Thanks to our sponsors the event was FREE to all attendees.

It is the only conference in Ireland to focus on the three key areas of workplace –  People, Place and Technology.

The aim of this Year’s Workplace Summit was to be even more disruptive, innovate and fun! It offered a strategic perspective to delegates on areas that Workplace needs to focus on now and in the future if we need to deliver for the next generations in these challenging times.

We had some of the best innovators in their spheres of influence who inspires those involved in the Workplace professions in Ireland to influence their own organisations and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Topics included Back to Work plans; Shaping the Workplace for introverts & extroverts; Autism, Inclusivity & Access; And what impact BIM can have on the new-normal workplace.

Our speakers included:

  • Back to Work – George Muir – Futurist & CEO Udal Cuain
  • The importance of addressing the topic of Autism, Access and inclusivity in the Workplace – Gearoid Kearney – myAccessHub
  • The psychology of decision making in designing Workplaces – Sinead O’Toole – Sheffield Hallam University
  • How BIM (Building Information Modelling) & it’s relationship with Blockchain impacts where we work – Dr James Harty – Copenhagen School of Design
