Pat Gaughan has over twenty years’ experience working at a senior level in Facilities Management both in Ireland and abroad.
Most recently he has worked for CBRE as an Account Director in EMEA. Pat has also worked for a variety of blue chip companies such as Aviva, Virgin Media, Bilfinger and the National Museum.
Pat is an experienced and qualified tutor and has previously delivered FM courses for BIFM.
Pat has an Honours degree in European Studies and Law from UL and is a Qualified Lead Auditor. He is currently Chairman of BIFM Ireland.

Denis has over 15 years’ experience in Bid/Tender and Contracts Management, implementing systems to positively manage relationships with suppliers, customers, end-users and internal relationships with colleagues and stakeholders also.

Before becoming chief Tea Lady at SocialBee events, she was an enthusiastic secondary school teacher and avid world traveller.

Gerry McKiernan is the Supply Chain Manager with Three Ireland and has functioned in an ever changing business and industry for the last 10 years.
In total, Gerry has over 20 years’ experience leading Supply Chain teams in dynamic, fast-paced organisations. Given this, he has developed effective purchasing, logistics and distribution models aligned to evolving marketplace demands.
Recently, the acquisition of Three by O2, saw Gerry lead a number of projects in delivering consolidated models, thereby capitalising on synergies from both organisations.

Having qualified from UCD with a degree in Engineering, Martin worked in the Manufacturing Sector, specifically the Pharmaceutical, Food, Engineering and Technology Sectors. Following the award of an MBA, Martin created a start-up business (Vector), providing Facility and Property Management Services to a range of blue chip companies and public sector organizations.
Attracting Private Equity funding into the business allowed the new start up to achieve rapid organic growth, gaining revenues of c.€60 million and was a runner-up in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Four years after starting, Martin sold the business to a PLC for a valuation of €22 million. Remaining responsible for the business, he took the business public on both the UK and Irish Stockmarkets and a market capitalization of over €100 million was reached.
Currently, he is one of the two Founder Directors of Accent Solutions, a Glasnevin – based Facilities Management company which specializes in providing a detailed, bespoke solution to each client’s specific requirements.
Conor O’Brien has worked in project and programme management for over 30 years. Projects have been in manufacturing, financial services, building and infrastructure projects, software development, and information management.
Conor is a certified Project Management Professional and is a member of the IEEE, PMI, and DAMA. A number of projects involved green site conversions to modern state of the art highly digitized work environments that leveraged automated environmental monitoring and control systems.
Conor has spent recent years researching in IT, Project, Programme, and Project Portfolio management.

Des has specialised in Safety Management systems for in both indigenous and multinational companies forming his own FM company in 2007 providing Safety Management Services to all sectors within Ireland and Northern Ireland including Retail, Office, Service and Manufacturing Environments.
Richard Whitty is a very experience and committed professional tutor with over forty-five years working for blue chip companies, and a leading charity organisation in a variety of fields including manufacturing, customer service, shipping, environmental, health, safety, security, facilities and property management.
Last year Richard retired from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul as National Facilities Manager. He is a member of IOSH, RICS and SCSI.
Karen O’Connor has over 13 years’ experience with both indigenous and multinational companies across a broad range of industries such as Manufacturing, ICT, Event Management and Customer Service.
As a result, Karen brings with her a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of people management. Because of her passion for HR, Karen has now set up her own HR consultancy which offers HR support to small and medium businesses across several sectors.
